Overview
After many months of SEISMIC members piloting our Experiments Working Group projects in some initial STEM classes, we are ready to start scaling up! We invite you attend our virtual event Intervening for Equity: SEISMIC Course-Level Interventions on Dec. 1-3, 2020 to learn more about the different projects we are launching this winter and to see if you’d like to try them out in your classes.
Event Details
This virtual event is spread out over three days to give participants the opportunity to visit with each of our different projects. 5 of our Experiments Working Group projects will be presenting, each for 1 hour. You’ll get the chance to learn about how our different projects address some of the equity and inclusion challenges students commonly face in introductory STEM courses and what it takes from you to actually run these experiments in your courses. There will also be time for you to ask questions directly of the project leads. You can attend as few or as many of the project sessions as you are interested in. Please register above to attend any of the sessions and get the Zoom links.
